On a steaming hot Los Angeles Emmy weekend, the coolest place in town to be was at the DPA pre-awards gift suite at the Luxe Sunset Hotel.

Dozens of vendors from around the globe set up shop and welcomed Emmy nominees, presenters and a select group of guests to the garden suites of the hotel.

Attendees included Al Jean, producer of The Simpsons, Alex Borstein, star of The Marvelous Mrs. Meisel, Carol Leifer from Curb Your Enthusiasm, David Williams, makeup artist for Pam and Tommy who won the Emmy at the Creative Arts ceremony the weekend before, Ken Davitian (Cobra Kai) plus talent from acclaimed movies and shows like Minari, Bob’s Burgers, Dopesick, Better Call Saul, Insecure, Severance, Ozark and Barry.

Libations and refreshments for the guests were provided by Carvery Kitchen, Kozet Kuisine, Red Saint elevated cocktails, Heaven Sake, Gen Z purified water, Khee distilled spirits from Eva Chow and Rendezvous natural grower champagne from France.

DPA CEO Nathalie Dubois always ensures there are a wide range of prestigious and up-and-coming brands represented at her suites, which she’s been producing for nearly 20 years now surrounding all of the major award shows and film festivals.

The events give the companies the chance to expose their products to celebrities and VIPs which helps increase their sales. Many of them, like Canadian-based Bullets N’ Beads are tied to charitable causes. The jewelry company donates a percentage of all sales to military veterans with PTSD and to first responders.

Other brands showcased at the event include Jacob Madani, Bijoux Sail Away jewelry, Scent Si Bon, Heather Marie hats, author Mark J. Rose, Claymonics, Hearthstone Collective, Generation organic lip balm and Bougie Bottle.
