The mood was festive on a private deck of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel Friday and Saturday. And why not? It was Oscar weekend, the weather was bright and sunny and the pandemic was a little bit in the rearview mirror as eBay and GBK Brand Bar put on their Pre-Oscar Luxury Lounge.
Some of Hollywood’s biggest names including Anthony Anderson, Viola Davis and Ashley Greene, along with a number of other celebrities and VIPs turned out for the highly anticipated event.
The outdoor area was filled with vendors providing coveted gifts to the guests along with food and beverage stations.

GBK aims to connect new and established brands to the Hollywood community through its celebrity lounges, which were put on hold this year due to the pandemic so that’s why nominees from other award shows held earlier this season were also invited.
Of course everyone knows about eBay. The company gifted luxury goods available on the platform from top-tier brands like Oris, Montblanc, Tag Heuer timepieces to Balenciaga backpacks, Saint Laurent clutches, and Bottega Veneta handbags – all authenticated through eBay’s expanding Authenticity Guarantee service.
Guests were invited to participate in a private retail activation and personalized closet clean out program in support of the American Red Cross to benefit Ukraine.
