One of the most anticipated events every year during Emmy season is GBK Brand Bar’s luxury gifting suite. This year the company teamed up with HempHera for a two-day soirée to celebrate television’s biggest night.

And there were lots of reasons to celebrate, especially when you think of last year when the pandemic was raging and the Emmy Awards themselves were all virtual.

Still, GBK made sure everyone was Covid-safe by administering instant tests outside the La Peer Hotel in Los Angeles before invited guests were cleared with a negative test and allowed to enter the event at their scheduled appointment time.

The lounge itself was set up on the rooftop penthouse of the hotel where purveyors of fine products and services gifted as select number of Emmy nominees, television stars and VIPs.

Among those spotted were Evan Peters, who went on to win the Emmy for his supporting role in the acclaimed drama Mare of Easttown. Another Emmy winner in attendance was Renée Elise Goldsberry from Hamilton who would go on to make a rousing acceptance speech at the ceremonies about the importance of theater to the entertainment world.

Nominee Jeremy Swift from Ted Lasso, which went on to win best comedy, was spotted making the rounds, as were previous Emmy winners Viola Davis and Martin Short.

Also in attendance were stars of Emmy nominated shows including Jenna Lyng Adams and Melissa Tang (The Kominsky Method), Christian Isaiah and Shanola Hampton (Shameless), Cameron Crovetti (Big Little Lies), Taylor Nichols (Pen15), Rose Abdoo (Hacks), Gianni Decenzo (Cobra Kai), Victoria Tate (The Morning Show), and Fortune Feimster (RuPaul’s Drag Race).

They and other celebrity and VIP guests at the event Friday and Saturday before the Emmy Awards on Sunday were gifted with some of this year’s hottest gifts worth more than $40K.

No one went away hungry—or thirsty. Spirits brands included Cardinal du Four Armagnac – 21 Rebellion, paired with Petrossian caviar, NEFT Vodka and Suavecito, billed as the world’s smoothest tequila.

Vegan sushi was provided by Kuleana, a plant-based product that substitutes for tuna and will soon land on major grocery store shelves.

HempHera Kosmetikos provided its Greek God & Goddess inspired Luxury NanoAmplified CBD Skincare Collection.

Other great products being gifted included Magnetic Hair Design’s magnetic hair extensions and Pump Pal’s ingenious reusable fuel glove that is stored inside your gas cap for whenever you pull up to the pump.

Price.com, Session Goods, PFB Vanish skincare, Lavie by CK, Sean M. Flynn photography and Blazing Bull grills were some of the other brands represented.

Participating charities were She Angels and Goodwill, who talked to guests about their good works helping people in need. The charities were also each given a $40,000 gift bag to auction off and raise more funds for their respective organizations.
