Rafi Gift Lounge at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills
The ballroom at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Beverly Hills was buzzing with excitement on the Friday before the Academy Awards for the Rafi Gift Lounge, curated by Rafi Anteby.
Known for his jewelry line Bullets4Peace, which has been worn by celebrities including Rihanna, Drake, Eva Longoria, Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber, Anteby participated in an Oscar lounge last year at the Four Seasons and decided to make this year’s his own, personally choosing the select brands to participate in gifting about 200 VIP guests.
Among the offerings, exotic and luxurious vacations, cultural experiences, rejuvenating spa treatments, fine contemporary jewelry, clothing and accessories.
Oh, and tequila—from Gran Cava de Oro.
Guests, including Oscar nominee and eventual winner Spike Lee, made the rounds of participating brands including J Kimm jewelry, Grindstone, Fydelity Bags, Tara Design, Omax Health, Jumpstart energy shots, Parasuco jeans, Face clothing, Save the Girls accessories, Modern Tie, Suitkits, Dr. Seeta Herbals, Fab 5 clothing, Source Naturals health supplements, Rythmia and Passion Roses.
Vacation destinations included the Samaya Ubud in Bali and the Ubud Village Resort & Spa.
The all-day event, sponsored by Barton Marketing Group, capping things off with a performance by Louis Price and Sonny Turner—and more tequila.
Proceeds for the event are benefiting orphan children in Myanmar.
