Although it won’t be in theaters until Christmas day, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association anointed “Vice,” Adam McKay’s Dick Cheney biopic starring Christian Bale with a leading six Golden Globe nominations.
The Globes also awarded “A Star Is Born,” “The Favourite,” and “Green Book” with five nods apiece. Box office hits “Black Panther” and “Crazy Rich Asians” scored three and two nods, respectively
On the television side of the scorecard, “The Assassination of Gianni Versace” led with four nominations. “Barry,” “The Kominsky Method,” and “Homecoming” scored three nominations, as did “Sharp Objects,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” and “A Very English Scandal.”
The Globes air January 6 on NBC with hosts Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh.
