Fans of Michael Jackson are in for a huge treat in advance of Halloween. CBS is airing a one hour animated special with Michael’s music as the soundtrack in the story.

A preview of the show was not available but images of Jackson’s infamous “Thriller” are certainly coming to mind.

The plot goes something like this: follows a twentysomething guy and a girl, Vincent (Lucas Till) and Victoria (Kiersey Clemons), who happened to me on Halloween night. They find themselves, along with Ichabod the dog, at a mysterious hotel located at 777 Jackson Street called This Place Hotel.

Once they are inside, Vincent and Victoria are sent on an unexpected, magical adventure of personal discovery, culminating in a spectacular dance finale featuring an animated Michael Jackson.

The voices of actors including Christine Baranski, Kiersey Clemons, Alan Cumming, George Eads, Brad Garrett, Lucy Liu, Jim Parsons and Lucas Till are featured in the program.

“Michael Jackson’s Halloween” was created and produced by Optimum Productions, the company now owned by his estate with animation production by Hammerhead. John Branca and John McClain, co-executors of the Estate of Michael Jackson, serve as executive producers. Daniel Chuba is the producer, and Mark A.Z. Dippé is the director.

(The “Michael Jackson’s Halloween” animated special airs Friday October 27 on CBS at  8PM ET/PT)
