Everyone who uses mascara wants the perfect one, the best formula dispensed from the ideal wand, resulting in beautiful, fluttery eyelashes. And now L’Oréal Paris has come up with a new formulation that will delight mascara wearers, called Voluminous Butterfly Mascara.
Current available in Europe, the new mascara hits store shelves in November, but LA’s beauty elite got a sneak peak as L’Oréal celebrated the West Coast launch with a private gathering on the rooftop garden of the Petit Hermitage hotel in West Hollywood.
A similar launch was held recently in New York.
L’Oréal Paris PR executives Steven Waldberg and Mora Neilson introduced the Voluminous Butterfly Mascara to the stylish crowd and the brand’s consulting makeup artist, Billy B was on hand to talk about how much he loves using the new mascara, an evolution of the brand’s popular Voluminous, which has been his must-have mascara for years.
“But now there is finally a breakthrough state of the art angled wand that actually does what it claims, literally separating each individual lash while encapsulating them in the richest, most luxurious blackest black,” he said.
The brush he loves is asymmetrical, ergonomic and has flexible arches to lift the outer lashes for a bold, fanned effect.
As for the formula, it’s silky and ophthalmologist tested and safe for even the most sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
“Now, it’s all my clients need to create perfect, sexy and iconic lashes themselves every time,” Billy B said, before mingling with the crowd sipping specialty cocktails in the lush, butterfly-themed gardens on a perfect California summer night.
