Rubber Soul may be the name of a legendary album by the Beatles and it’s also why Los Angeles-based footwear brand CLAE teams up with Vibram, renowned as the global leader in high-performance rubber soles.
The latest in their long-term collab is the Salazar, a running and sports shoe that combines ultimate performance and comfort with premium design.
With Vibram’s 80-year heritage of quality, performance, innovation and safety, CLAE was inspired to craft the Salazar as its premium lifestyle runner.
With a soul precision-engineered by Vibram, three styles are available. The black is fully vegan and made with recycled synthetic and mesh.
The Offwhite Microchip blends certified Italian leather and recycled mesh, while the Starfish Offwhite is made of suede and recycled mesh.
You can’t go wrong with any of the choices. All three models feature a neoprene inner heel cushion and 3M reflective material for visibility during night runs or hikes.
“Collaborating closely with the Vibram team allowed us to ensure that our Salazar offers the proper fit and maximum comfort to enhance everyday activities, from catching the train to running around the park for a quick jog after the daily grind,” says Sung Choi, Co-Founder and Creative Director at CLAE.
