Anora suddenly seems to be the front runner for Best Picture at the Oscars after an incredible weekend sweep of three top awards, including the marquee prize at the Producers Guild of America Awards.
The trophy for the Sean Baker-directed film comes just after Baker won the best director award at the DGA ceremonies.
Just the night before, the Critics Choice Awards anointed the Neon film as Best Picture.
Both bodies are considered strong predictors for the Academy Awards, especially when it comes to best picture champs.
Another awards magnet, DreamWorks The Wild Robot, got the PGA’s animated film trophy, one night after winning the same at the CCAs,
On the television side, Hacks also continued its winning ways, having won the Critics Choice the night before, landing the Danny Thomas Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television – Comedy.
