Los Angeles has never seen a Grammy week quite like this one, where musical talent across-the-board greatly contributed to ongoing relief efforts in the wake of the wildfires that ravaged Pacific Palisades, Malibu and Altadena.
The DPA Music Lounge, which traditionally fetes Grammy nominees and presenters during the weekend going into the awards show, also played a part in raising funds to help those devastated by the fires as well as the heroic first responders who worked day and night to get the blazes under control.
Held at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, invited guests this time included those who also contributed by saving animals, people’s properties and businesses and just taking care of evacuees by serving food and providing clothing and other needed goods.
Guests were also able to show their generosity by contributing to a variety of GoFundMe accounts featured at vendor’s tables set up in a suite at the hotel.
The participating brands were sourced by DPA CEO Nathalie Dubois, who always provides an international flair in the selections ranging from jewelry to skincare to couture red carpet ready gowns.
Among them were fashion designer test man, jewelry company Nashipai, De Marquet sustainable leather bags made in Italy, Naturelle With Love’s beauty products, enriched with Bulgarian Rosa Damascena oil, Ere Perez natural cosmetics, The Animal Bar, Hidden Foods, Perduret sparkling wine crafted from wildflower honey sourced from a wildlife preserve and beautifully crafted champagne glasses from Josephinen Hütte..
It all added up to a perfect way to celebrate Grammy weekend.
