The Southern California heatwave had abated by the time EcoLuxe Luxury Lounge with setting up on the Friday of Emmy awards weekend. But hey, had the temperatures not dropped from triple digits, there was a pool at the Beverly Hills estate where the much anticipated event, officially called the Endless Summer Festival was held.

Producer Debbie Durkin, who is well-known for her luxury lounges around major awards shows and at the annual Sundance Film Festival, brings in a select group of international, national and local vendors to gift VIP attendees.

The day-long event, the eighteenth annual EcoLuxe Luxury Lounge, included a lavish lunch spread around the pool and was host to a number of Emmy nominees and special guests.

Spotted among them: Gilles Marini (Actor, Sex & The City, Brothers & Sisters), Sofia Milos (Actress, CSI Miami), Kiowa Gordon (Actor, Dark Winds), Meriel Sheibani-Clare (Emmy-nominee writer, The Crown), Joseph Gatt (Games of Thrones), Kwame Siegel (Actor, Comedian), Skully Brandon (Actor, Rapper, Dancer), Spencer Garrett (Actor), and Newton Mayenge (5x Emmy-nominated for HBO’s “Winning Time”).

Among the coveted items were a week at ZenoVerse Wellness Body and Soul Maintenance resorts in Jamaica and jewelry from a new brand, Kimitake, which infuses Japanese tradition and contemporary flair in its unique designs.

Also from Japan, Uka Sake, which was pouring three different varieties. Our favorite was Uka Dry, made with California organic rice. The smooth, dry blend features intense aromas of green apple, pear and hints of anise.

Author Michelle Barr was there signing copies of her two books, “Loving What’s Next ” and “#Soutteach,” which offers readers a daily guide to achieving their goals.

Fayah Athletics & Streetwear was there from Canada with its colorful, fashion-forward designs.

Charitable beneficiary Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue Ranch was on hand with one of its lovable rescue dogs, dogs that are also taught to rescue people.

Luckily, no one needed rescuing from extreme heat – it was a perfect day leading into awards weekend.
