Even the rain couldn’t put a damper on GBK Brand Bar’s 15th annual Pre-Oscars Celebrity Luxury Lounge held Friday and Saturday before the Academy Awards at West Hollywood’s Kimpton La Peer Hotel.

In fact, the rugged weather actually served to contribute to the festive atmosphere at the event, where VIP guests were gifted with more than $70,000 worth of products and luxury trips to exotic locales, including an African safari.

Director Ruben Ostlund of the best picture-nominated film “Triangle of Sadness” was among a number of current and former nominees making the scene. Other nominees spotted included Christian Minkler, Anne Alvergue, Sara Dosa and SON LUX, who did the music for “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”

There’s always a lot of love for Oscar winner Viola Davis, who should have been nominated for “The Woman King,” yet she was in high spirits as she made the rounds of prestige vendors showcased at the event.

Among the other celebrity guests were Kevin Pollack, Adina Porter, Shea Whigham, Stephen Root, Anna Sophia Robb, Harry Shum, Jr., Nika King, Matthew Von Der Ahe, Emily Swallow, Meta World Peace, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Tom Hollander, Violet & Madeleine McGraw, Jesse Metcalf, Drag Race stars Bob the Drag Queen & Monet Exchange, Keith David, Hailie Sahar and Tony winner Anika Noni Rose.

The guests were excited to receive gifts such as entertainment and gaming lighting by GE Lighting, a Savant company, MY AVANA hair strand analysis kit, Netvue bird feeder cam, custom Higher Calling Bracelets, El Cristiano delicious, additive-free tequila and handcrafted gifts by members of The Artisan Group.

Some of the other amazing gifts offered to the celebrities in attendance included food items by Albanese World’s Best Gummies, CORE® Foods, California Caviar Company, Don’t Be Salty, Ike’s Love & Sandwiches and Hibachi House LA.

Spirits were flowing from Lorenzi Estate Vineyards & Winery, Debate Wine, AXR Napa Valley, SOULTOX and Cardinal de Four Amagnac, and 21 Rebellion.

Some of the other amazing apparel, accessories and jewelry included Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry, BADAZZ GLAZZ sunglasses By Joe Pesci, The Almighty Pineapple gold & agate pendants, and Rear Ended “Frame the Booty” workout gear.

Home goods and personal care gifts were a hit and included Schwank Grills, Remington® personal care items, RENPHO USA massage and care items, POWER XL air fryer and Emeril Lagasse’s cookware set.

After the Oscars, passports need to be in order to take part in international vacations offered by Lush Africa Safaris, Rosewood Baha Mar and Sailrock Resort.

As it does with all of its events, GBK Brand Bar designates charity partners to help raise awareness, create celebrity partnerships, and give back to the community. This year was no exception with the inclusion of Childhelp, Educating Young Minds, and Rastegar Family Foundation onsite. The event raised more than $60,000 for these causes.
