WOW Creations
What is the first sign that it is Oscar week in Los Angeles? Well, a great gifting suite, of course. This year the party got started on Monday at Mr. C Hotel in Beverly Hills in a buzzy event curated by the Harris brothers, who also produce other awards-related events throughout the year.
Set up on the hotel’s penthouse with stunning 360° views of the city, invited guests were greeted with the festive sounds of roving violinist Ben Hoyt as they made the rounds of booths set up for a number of unique and prestigious brands.
Among those participating: Skin Sutra, Wrapped Clothing, Bea Natural Skincare, Pooch Le Luxe, Mineral Fusion, Helen Ficalora, Gior Fine Art, Pearlabella, Teuscher Chocolates, Knox and Dobson and AJT Luxury Cigars.
The spirits were a-flowing as well, courtesy of Cho Wines & Vineyards, Presidents Tequila, Absenthia Bottled Spirits and our favorite, Dulce Vida Spirits with delicious infused tequila made in Austin. We are still savoring the lime jalapeno as well as the good memories from attending.
ECOLUXE Luxury Lounge
You certainly can’t argue with Mother Nature and she certainly made her presence known on the Friday of Oscar Week with a heavy day-long deluge that put a damper on a number of events including the 17th annualECOLUXE pre-Oscars Luncheon and Luxury Lounge at the iconic Beverly Hilton.
Hosted by veteran producer Debbie Durkin to celebrate Hollywood’s biggest night, the event is known to feature sustainable brands for its celebrity and VIP guests. This year’s event benefited Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue. Fitting because several brands for our four-legged friends were part of the “Pawscars Lounge” hosted by DOGUE Magazine.
The event also boasted the exclusive West Coast launch of Dream Body Sculpting Devices, a safe, non-invasive alternative for toning up and trimming down.
Other participating brands included Creekside RNR Canadian Glamping Resort, Inca Glow, Healthy Paws Herbals Lab, SPLEASH Patented Dog Leash Accessory, SF Sauce, RevealU Skincare, Fresh Patch and Tequila Komos.
