Ever since Will Smith marched up on the stage of the Dolby Theater during the Oscars last March and slapped the crap out of Chris Rock and then proceeded to scream profanities at him, Rock fans have been waiting for their man’s slap-down.

They got what they wanted – and then some – at the end of Rock’s hour-long live Netflix special Saturday night, dubbed “Selective Outrage,” a concept he slung at Smith, saying his real anger was at his wife.

In case you’ve been living under a….um, Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith had an affair, what she termed an “entanglement,” and then interviewed her husband about it on her show, Red Table Talk.

“Everybody that really knows knows I had nothing to do with that shit. I didn’t have any ‘entanglements.’ I didn’t. I did not have any ‘entanglements.’ And for people that don’t know… Will Smith’s wife was f*cking her son’s friend. [August Alsina] Now, I normally would not talk about this shit, but for some reason these n****s put that shit on the internet.”

“She hurt him way more than he hurt me, OK? And by the way, he does that shit and everybody in the world called him a bitch. I tried to call the motherf*cker and give him my condolences but he didn’t pick up from me. Everybody called him a bitch. Everybody. And who’s he hit? Me… That is some bitch-ass sh*t. That’s what the f*ck happened, OK? The f*ck outta here, man! I do nothing to this motherf*cker.”

“My whole life I’ve rooted for this motherf*cker. And now, I watch Emancipation just to see him get whooped. Got me rooting for Massa, OK? Hit him again, Massa! Hit him again! You missed a spot! A lot of people go, ‘Chris, how come you didn’t do anything back? How come you didn’t do nothing back that night?’ Because I got parents. And you know what my parents taught me? Don’t fight in front of white people!”

With that, rock took a number of bows before the sold-out audience at the Hippodrome Theater in Baltimore. There was speculation he chose the venue because it’s Pinkett Smith’s hometown. Touche, motherf*cker, as Rock would says—and did earlier in the set about his daughter’s academic success.

But the comedian also revealed some new information. It seems that in 2016, when rock was set to host the Academy Awards a year after #OscarsSoWhite brought renewed attention to the lack of diversity, Jada tried to get him to bow out because will was not nominated at that time for a movie called Concussion.

So he made a memorable joke about it on stage then.

“Jada said she’s not coming [out of] protest. I was like, ‘Isn’t she on a TV show?’ Jada’s going to boycott the Oscars? Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties. I wasn’t invited!” Rock recalled saying.

“She f*cking said, ‘He should quit because Will didn’t get nominated for Concussion.’ What the f*ck? So, I did some jokes about it. Who gives a f*ck? That’s how it is. She starts it, I finish it, OK? That’s what the f*ck happened. Nobody’s picking on this bitch. She started this shit. Nobody’s picking on her. Nobody was picking on her. She said me, a grown-ass man, should quit his job because her husband didn’t get nominated for Concussion, and then this n***a gives me a f*cking concussion, OK? What the f*ck, man!”

And for those who don’t remember exactly what precipitated the 2022 Oscars slap: Rock focused on Pinkett Smith again, as her husband was up for best actor. Rock joked that Pinkett-Smith looked like “G.I. Jane 2,” an apparent reference to her shaved head. Many pointed out that it was a compliment for anyone to be compared to Demi Moore who starred in that film. After the assault, Smith returned to is front row seat and screamed. “Keep my wife’s name out of your f*cking mouth!”

And even though it took a year, Rock had the last word.
