The mood was joyful as guests crowded into the lobby of the soon to open to the public Mr. Brainwash Museum in Beverly Hills for the March 10 Los Angeles premiere of “One of Us,” a documentary telling the stories of three extraordinary women who have distinguished themselves in their respective careers.
The museum – site of the Paley Center for Media for a number of years—hosted the event, which was sponsored by the Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Institute of Culture.
All of the women featured in the documentary are Italian: Chef Giada De Laurentiis, scientist Federica Raia, actress and producer Gabriela Pession and digital media innovator Raffaella Camera.
The documentary, produced by Chiara Tilesi and Debora Guetta, follows on the heels of the first such film which premiered last year in Los Angeles, dedicated to talented Italian women on the West Coast.
The latest installment takes viewers into the lives of these high-achieving women as they reveal personal stories and challenges that have shaped them along the way.
The participants and guests celebrated the new film after the screening with a reception sponsored by Eataly, TaTa Tu and Aya Muse.
