Flex Brush: The Perfect Detangler for Wet or Dry Hair

We are completely down with products and tools that do double-duty and that’s why it was so exciting to hear about the new Flex Brush, created by celebrity hairstylist and New York salon owner Angelo David and hair tool veteran Jacob Guttman, the founder and CEO of Creative Pro Hair Tools.

Their new product works on both wet and dry hair, gently detangling it while massaging the scalp with its contouring and flexibility that bends to follow each person’s unique hair pattern and head shape.

We have long, fine hair and have always used a large-tooth comb to detangle it in the shower after conditioner. Flex Brush was easier, quicker and gentler than the comb – and we also love using the product as a “regular” hair brush and appreciate that it gives you a soothing scalp massage.

Plus, as an added bonus, one less thing to pack in our carefully curated travel kit, especially since Flex Brush comes in a smaller size perfect for purse and travel.

It’s made from all-natural rubber and the coating has a soft-touch finish that’s comfy and easy to grip. The vents make it ideal for blow drying because air can pass freely through them.

It’s also great for painlessly detangling the tough knots in kids’ hair because of the flexibility.

Angelo was inspired to create the brush while on the beach in Aruba and seeing people damage their hair as they yanked rigid brushes through knots in it, tearing the ends and destroying roots. Ouch. He collaborated with Jacob—and they’ve achieved their goal of creating an all-purpose tool that safely detangles, massages the scalp and promotes healthier hair.

Flex Brush is available in three types, two sizes and several colors, with prices ranging from $20-$26.
