The Organic Pharmacy may look like a high-end beauty store, but beyond its shelves filled with organic skincare products and color cosmetics lies an urban retreat staffed with beauty therapists administering top-notch treatments.
“I wanted to create exceptional treatments that focus entirely on the individual through a combination of techniques and fantastic products so that you could see visible results every time,” says Margo Marrone, co-founder of the London-based company.
Beverly Hills is its only U.S. outpost, with the six other shops in the U.K.
They’ve just added five new facial treatments to the menu: the Oxygen Hydra-Diamond Antioxidant Facial, the Collagen Boosting Hydra Diamond Non Surgical Face L lift, the Organic Pharmacy Non Surgical Face Lift, the Express Power Facial ($65 for 30 minutes) and the Hydra Diamond Exfoliation.
We recently had the opportunity to experience the 80-minute Oxygen Hydra-Diamond Antioxidant Facial, perfect after a summer of high intensity but necessary protective (and pore-clogging) sunscreen slathered on our face.
It was a wonderful, expertly administered treatment that started with the hydra-diamond and Vitamin C exfoliation before progressing to an infusion of antioxidants and sodium hyaluronate pushed into the skin with oxygen jets that hydrate as well as stimulate collagen and elastin production. The result: skin that was left looking younger, brighter and rejuvenated. Overall, a luxurious and lovely experience.
The Organic Pharmacy also features other facials as well as body massages and treatments, like the Green Coffee Body Sculpting Massage ($100 for 60 minutes) and self tanning. Waxing and eyebrow and eyelash tinting are also available.
The store itself surveys a beautiful selection of color cosmetics and skin care products that are used in the treatments.
