What to get a three-year-old for its birthday? A big huge bangin’ party, of course. STK restaurant in Los Angeles has been the scene of many a high-profile evening over the past three years, but its celebration party rocked the rafters. It was one of the rare West Hollywood events where the fire marshal wasn’t cracking the whip and making sure the place wasn’t too packed– because we don’t think one more person could’ve squeezed inside.
With the deliciously wafting scent of truffle fries filling the air and sliders being passed, it was every person for themselves as far as grabbing some of STK’s vaunted menu items that were being served up. One man was spotted hoarding a stash of the mini hamburgers at one of the three jam-packed bars–and then giving them out to hungry people who passed by. He said he’d eaten six, if that shows you how yummy they were.
In the main room, a trained monkey entertained guests who were warned not to take flash pictures of it. A few feet away, go-go dancers wriggled above the crowd in colorful costumes.

A photo booth with an island getaway theme, complete with ukuleles and bongos, was a popular stopping point to nab a souvenir of the evening, as gift bags were in short supply. The celebrity quotient was filled with Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly and Jerry Ferrara – yes, “Entourage” is starting up again—and Kristin Cavallari and fiance Jay Cutler.
After the party “officially” ended, but wasn’t really over, some the action moved to the dining room where late night supper was enhanced by the sparkly entertainment.
