Turning the fake New York streets of Paramount’s backlot into a real block party put Billabong’s 4th annual Design for Humanity event into a whole new realm of fashion, art and performance–and a massive, fun party, heated up by the company’s hot designs. About 3,000 people filled the “streets” to see artists creating canvases, bands like Fischerspooner and Kid Sister performing and of course, a bunch of hot models parading down the runway in this summer’s hottest bikinis. Limited edition products and artworks sold on site benefited Invisible Children, an organization dedicated to helping families affected by the war in Uganda.
